En octubre de este año la galería Tate Modern inaugurará la exhibición The Artist in the Age of Publicity. Al respecto, el Tate publica:
"Where most art-historical accounts have focused on the iconic and stylistic aspects of Pop Art, The Artist in the Age of Publicity will propose that the most radical lessons of the movement have emerged in the way artists in our time have not simply represented or commented upon our culture of mass media but have flagrantly participated in commercialism and infiltrated the publicity machine as a performative strategy."
Las imagenes son de Jeff Koons -que la verdad es GLORIOSO-, Takashi Murakami y Andy Warhol, artistas que estarán en esta muestra. Otros incluídos son Richard Prince, David Hammons, Martin Kippenberger y Damien Hirst.
